Gemma has been an amazing tutor for my son and I whole heartedly recommend her! From the very first lesson, Gemma really got to know Monty and his wants and needs, then tailored each lesson specifically to ensure he was engaged and keen to learn. Each week Monty was enthusiastic to go to Gemma’s and learn, which was such a positive step forward for him. He has really flourished since having tutoring with Gemma and did well in his SATs as a result of all her support.
Every lesson is well thought out and structured and each week Gemma would feedback on where they’d focussed and Monty’s progress.

Gemma has done wonders for my sons confidence and massively improved his maths skills, she took the time to really get to know him so that she could best understand his needs and how to engage with him. This effort really paid off and they developed an amazingly positive and fun learning relationship which has led my son flourishing in subjects that he previously struggled with, increased his self belief and given him the confidence to contribute more in class. My son enjoys his sessions with Gemma and has never once complained about going for extra tutoring because she makes it such a welcoming and productive experience.

Gemma has been tutoring Oakley for almost a year now and he absolutely loves his lessons. He would go every day if he could! Gemma makes lessons exciting and enjoyable and she always gets the most out of Oakley by challenging him which he enjoys so much. Gemma understands exactly where Oakley is in terms of his learning and education, so that she can target which areas to develop. I have a much better understanding of Oakley’s ability since meeting Gemma, after only 1 session Gemma had a full profile of where he was at! I am given a full update at the end of every session which is so lovely to hear all the things they’ve been learning.

Gemma has been supporting both our children (10 & 7) for almost a year now. When they started, we agreed on some areas to focus on as a starting point, but this has evolved with regular updates from Gemma.
The children have never once complained about doing their additional tutoring and Gemma can take credit for this! She has made the experience fun and engaging for them.
We have seen tangible improvements with both of them during the last year, specifically in the areas that have been focused on during their sessions.
